I Live with the Papparazzi!

Thanks for all the nice well wishes for my little guy, he is feeling better (less itchy) and back in school. Thank God! It was a trying couple days there with a hyper little boy being told every 2 minutes to rest and sit down by his mother. If he had just been sicker, he wouldn't have been so nutso. Terrible, I know.
But all those antibiotics are now coursing through him and he is on the mend.

And now that I have my brand new camera (canon rebel xti, if you wanted to know), Max has claimed the terrible little digital camera as his own. Which was fine with me because I don't even want to touch that camera again, Ugh!

Well, apparently, he know thinks he is the Papparazzi.
I was eating a chip yesterday, when suddenly, out of nowhere, he pops into the kitchen...Snap!
"Good one mom, stuffing your face."
I am in the bedroom putting away clothes....Snap!
"Yep, my mom doing laundry, that's a keeper."
I am sitting on the couch trying to watch the Grey's finale...Snap!
"Woooo, you should see your face!"

Now, I don't generally like to have my picture taken, but with the proper clothes, makeup done and just the right situation, I am more than happy to pose for a shot.
These were not ideal situations and when I went in to kiss him goodnight, he pulled that damn camera out of nowhere and as I moved in for the smooch...Snap!
That was it.
I had to say something.

"Stop taking my picture, that's not nice and I don't want you to. And you are taking horrible shots of me!"
"What???!! I can look back at these pictures of you in like 10 years mom and laugh and laugh."
"That's just not nice and you don't have my permission."
"Papparazzis don't have permission either."
"Max!"
(that's what Moms say when they don't know what to say, isn't it.)

This morning, I was brushing my teeth..."Papparazzi!"....Snap!
"Max!"
I was blow drying my hair..."Papparazzi!"...Snap!
"Max!"
I was yelling at my son to stop and get ready for school..."Papparazzi!"...Snap!

On the way to school he told the boy we carpool with, "You should see the pictures I have been taking of my mom, they're hysterical!"
"You are not showing anyone those pictures!"
"Sure I am. I think I may make a scrapbook." (he laughed about this comment for a good 2 minutes)

"You do realize that I know how to delete pictures, right????"
"Sorry mom."

"So, you'll stop?"
"Maybe."

Oh geez!

YOu are sooo funny! Have you ever considered writing? (You're not a writer are you? Suddenly I've had a brain freeze and can't remember what you do?) Thanks for the giggles!

This is way too funny and I definitely think Max should make a scrapbook of the pics he's taking of you :-) You'll appreciate later ya know!

Simone you HAVE to let Max scrap those photos!
You may not want to see them now but years from now they will be priceless memories for both of you.
